Pet Pantry
During difficult economic times, some Texas residents find that they are unable to feed and care for their beloved pets. Through our PALS Pet Pantry, we provide those in need with donations of pet food and supplies, thus enabling them to keep their pets. This reduced the burden on local animal shelters and lowers pet euthanasia rates!
The PALS Pet Pantry is made possible by generous donations from local residents and businesses. If you would like to help PALS with this important program, you may drop off donations at 215 West San Antonio Street. We appreciate your support!
Pet Food Drives
PALS coordinates pet food collections for our Pet Food Pantry. If you would like to help, please drop off your donation of bags of dry dog or cat food at our office during normal business hours. We collect food and distribute it at area food pantries to those who cannot afford to purchase food for their pets. Many families in our area who are barely getting by and our hope is that the Pet Food Pantry will enable these families to keep their pets instead of surrendering them to already overburdened shelters. This project could use volunteers to help in almost every facet – collecting the food, identifying and screening clients, transporting food, writing grants to help fund the project, and more.
